Tom Howlett Found?

What seemed like a search that was never going to end could have now done exactly that.

A man claiming to be the real Tom Howlett today walked into a local police station sparking speculation that the hunt was finally over.

A nationwide hunt has been ongoing for nearly five years for who essentially is the real Tom Howlett.

But is this man really who he says he is?

The man, who appears to be in his 70′s was held by police while a session of questioning was held.

So Has Tom Howlett Been Found?

Well here is the thing. The police aren’t sure. The man, who has been described as having a colourful personality, hasn’t exactly been making much sense. Officer Jones had the following to say:

“To date he hasn’t answered any of our questions so we are no closer to finding out if he is who he claims he is. However, this case has been open for so long we are just want to close it. As a result we are happy to accept that he is who he says he is so we can just put this to bed”.

When pushed further Officer Jones also had the following to say:

“OK, look, so far all the man has said is “I’m Tom Howlett, cheese dreams, I have cheese dreams. Can anyone else see that purple dolphin midget?. I need shoes. Who stole my pants? I am the anxiousness scheduler“. As far as we are concerned that is enough for us to close this case. We are now free to move on to solve the case of who painted Mrs Hansens bin orange”.

The press not so convinced it’s Tom Howlett

The press aren’t as convinced as the police.

One local reporter claims to have found evidence that the same man had also claimed to be Lord Lucan, Shergar, The Springfield Three, John Cabot and Louis Le Prince.

“He can’t be all of them” said Ricky Franks to reporter in question. “Two maybe but no way is he all of them, we can at least strike Shergar off the list, he’s not a horse, but the rest? Well they were never found were they. Dental records weren’t around in 1800′s or before so who is to say this man isn’t at least one of them”.

So it appears the search will go on. Who and where is the real Tom Howlett?
