Tim PaytonIt’s time for another Arsenal “ITK”.

This time it’s Tim Payton.

Another “In The Know” who doesn’t have a clue.

Following on the heels of the post I wrote about fellow “ITK” Myles Palmer, Tim Payton who yearns the acknowledgement from Arsenal fans as he churns out “inside information” time and time again.

During the summer of 2013 I just became sick and tired of all these mouths with inside information more than happy to throw us all their knowledge to try and promote themselves as important people who have an ear in the club.

The truth of course is none of them do.

Tim Payton is one of them.

The GingeThere is no let up. What is going on?

Having lost my rankings for my name following the passing of Andy Williams the 60′s crooner I am now battling to keep rankings for my nickname – The Ginge.

The BBC have decided to commission a TV series for the comedy act The Ginge, The Geordie and the Geek.

Are they any good, I have no idea.

But what I do know is the sudden content surrounding the programme has flooded Google and suddenly I am on the verge of falling off the first page.

The BBC, The Metro, their site, Twitter and Facebook accounts have come from nowhere.

Arsenal In The Knows - SHUT UPMyles Palmer So Desperately Wants People To Believe He Is ITK.

The summer transfer window of 2013 has been a very long and stressful one for all Arsenal fans.

Before the start of the summer sales the club declared how loaded they were. This was going to be the summer when they seriously flashed the cash. “We are now in a position where we could buy Wayne Rooney” declared Gazidis. The big deals were coming into the club and everything was rosey.

Great South Run 2012There are times when I have some truly great ideas (no really there are)…

And there are times when those great ideas come out of my mouth…

There are then times when those ideas get out of hand and before you know it a challenge is on.

Guess who opened his mouth at work a few months ago – “I’ve entered the Great South Run, I think we should all enter it and run for charity”.

“Yeah I’ll have some of that Ginge”

Repeat another 12 odd times and before you know it The Koozai Great South Run Challenge Is On.

Oh what have I done. Why can’t I just shut it.

Stone RosesHeaton Park – Manchester

29th, 30th June & 1st July 2012

3 Gigs

225,000 people.

History.

“I Was There” events are far and few between during a lifetime but The Stone Roses Heaton Park gigs can certainly sit in such a category.

This was history, no question. Ever since the announcement in October 2011 fans who had been left praying for a reunion for 16 years were granted their wish, me included.

Such was the demand that these have become the fastest selling shows in British history. Manchester’s most celebrated band were coming back. Rumours had always been around but the message from the band members was that this was one reunion that would EVER happen. There was too much bad blood.

But then suddenly in October 2011 a press conference was called and the dates were announced. These were tickets that simply couldn’t be passed up.

The most sought after tickets in my lifetime so far came via Nick and so the pilgrimage to Manchester was on.

Arsenal v Brighton 5th Feb 1983On the 5th February 1983 I was taken to my first ever live game. Aged just 9 I saw Arsenal beat Brighton 3-1. I didn’t celebrate a single goal – I didn’t know what on earth I was supposed to do. But in a scene not a million miles away from that in Fever Pitch when Paul is overwhelmed by his first visit to Highbury against Stoke I was totally hooked from that moment on.

From about the age of 14 onwards I became a regular to Highbury, most seasons missing only a few games a season. I was never really an away fan but I was regular at home. All the way up to the last season at Highbury. In that time I was lucky enough to experience everything (apart from relegation thankfully). I brought all the kits, I brought all the end of season videos, a programme at every game. I was the perfect fan. Loyal, passionate, I knew all the history, in my time I have been a Junior Gunner, a member of the Cannon Club and then a full on member (right up until present day). I’ve never been a season ticket holder – I’ve never been able to afford it or needed to be. Membership and then the evolved Silver membership was always enough to get me tickets.

The Real Tom Howlett

Tom Howlett – The Next Chapter

So it appears that the real Tom Howlett has been found.

With no one officially challenging the claim by a mad old man (who came forward a couple of weeks ago) it looks like the case can now be closed.

So with the biggest mystery now cleared up, what is next for Tom Howlett?

The media have been falling over themselves to be the first to get the story in full but as well as the press agents have also been sniffing around for a piece of the action.

None more so than agent of the stars: Troy Jones.

Life’s Too Short is the new comedy from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.

For this new comedy they have revisited the “Mocumentry” scenario but this time it is based around Warwick Davis, a dwarf who has fallen on hard time.

As with all Gervais/Merchant comedy so many people have totally missed the joke and because the star is a dwarf it has picked up bad reviews and complaints.

Personally, I am loving it. It’s the first comedy in years to make me cry with laughter. And there have been no better moments than when stars have popped up out of the blue sending themselves up.

Music MondayIt’s #musicmonday. I’m pretty much following on from the feel good factor of the Four Tet’s Smile Around The Face.

Well lets face it there is no point posting bland boring music that doesn’t make me react in some way. This one is another one to make you feel good.

Lyrically is obviously as minimal as it gets but then it is a dance track. But it’s the smile that is smothered all over this track that I just love. It’s summer, it’s care free and if you are like me you will enjoy letting this track take you away somewhere happy.

Listening to the track takes you in one direction, listening to it while watching the video takes you somewhere else.

Stand Up ComedianIt’s been a while since I have gone right back and started from scratch but the time has come.

I have been out of the game for a little bit. Becoming a Dad has taken up all spare time and more. Having two within a year of each other has been insane, testing and a real journey full of smiles and stress.

The aim is to get back into the swing of things in the new year, however it could be said that the material I was using isn’t really, well, best suited anymore.

So here I am, back at the start.
A blank screen.

But what to hell am I going to write about?
